At Ebb & Flo, my purpose is simple: to create beautiful, meaningful jewellery that feels good to wear, and feels right for the planet. I believe in crafting with care. That means not only making with intention, but doing so in a way that’s respectful to the Earth and the people involved in every step of the process.

All of the silver I use comes from Cooksongold, the UK’s leading bullion supplier, and is made from 100% recycled precious metals, fully traceable, equal in quality, and far gentler on the planet. I also save and reuse every scrap of silver in my studio, creating what I like to think of as re-recycled pieces that carry even more story and soul.

When it comes to gemstones, I work closely with AE Ward & Son, a trusted supplier whose stones are processed in ethical conditions, free from exploitation or child labour. They've personally visited the workshops they source from and prioritise responsible practices within what is often a complex global trade.

The silver clay I use (Art Clay Silver) is made from reclaimed silver particles and offers another way to create beauty from recycled materials.

My packaging is made from FSC-certified cardboard and is 100% paper recyclable, no plastic, no waste. I keep production small, either made-to-order or in thoughtful batches, to reduce overproduction and minimise environmental impact.

Every piece is made in my home studio, using low-energy lighting and rainwater collected in homemade butts for the occasional process that requires it. I keep my footprint as light as possible and work with Evri for deliveries, a courier making measurable progress in reducing emissions, trialling electric and hydrogen vehicles, and using 100% renewable electricity in their operations.

I offer repairs and a 12-month warranty on all jewellery, encouraging a longer life for each piece and a deeper relationship between you and what you wear.

To me, sustainability isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being responsible. Staying conscious, asking questions, and doing better where we can. Every decision I make, from the materials I choose to the way I package your order, is guided by this approach. At its heart, Ebb & Flo is about creating jewellery that connects us to ourselves, to the planet, and to the stories we carry.
